Employees Seek Magen Tzedek Intervention

The Magen Tzedek Commission, dedicated to instilling social justice values in the production of kosher food, has received numerous phone calls from workers in kosher food plants requesting their work facilities be audited for compliance with Magen Tzedek’s standards.
The adoption of the Magen Tzedek Standard by food manufacturers not only assures the protection of their employees rights, but demonstrates to the public their commitment to an ethical workplace consistent with expected Jewish values.
